Spalted maple is also used in many of the finest custom guitars in the world. The Mojave features five coats of “High-Luster” urethane to dramatically increase the cue’s scratch resistance. This cue features the exclusive McDermott Impact Control Ring, made from a Polymer Matrix Composite (developed by NASA), which maximizes feel. The design is complemented by a Top-grain, Lizard-embossed, black leather wrap and a McDermott Soft Durometer Polymer bumper, the most wear and shock resistant bumper in the industry.
